Here is some excellent, practical advice from Elaine Sanchez for BabyBoomers (Baby Boomers) trying to asses the safety of their parents.  I like the way she presents information clearly and simply so that we can all understand it the first time around. She covers issues such as

    • Physical Safety
    • Home Safety and Helpful Technologies
    • Driving
    • Mental and Emotional Safety
    • Social Activity and Isolation
    • Finances
    • Bill paying and Bookkeeping
    • Legal issues such as Trusts,  Directives, and Property Distribution

Elaine Sanchez frequently delivers keynote speeches, workshops, and seminars at family caregiver conferences and gerontology conferences. She does work for the Paralyzed Veterans of America, Alzheimer’s Association, Area Agencies on Aging, community colleges, memory care facilities, long-term care facilities, Hospice organizations, financial planners, estate planning and elder law attorneys as well as churches and other faith-based organizations.
