Every Day is Valentine’s Day for In Home Caregivers

    We Are All Caregivers
Today is Valentines Day.  For most of my life it was one of my least favorite holidays because most of my significant others would either ignore it or panic under the pressure.   I felt guilty for wanting some acknowledgement of feeling.  I envied friends who received flowers, jewelry, and chocolates on Valentines Day. In my older age I have learned to recognize and show love no matter what day it is.  It is one of the best things about aging.

Dignified Aging in Place is a Universal Need

Sam is a very old dog.

He has some physical problems.  He can’t  do a traditional doggie “Sit” or squat to poop because he has so much arthritis in his hips.

    Steps are a challenge.

His eyesight is not what it once was.

Yet Sam continues to enjoy his life.

His favorite pastime is sacking out on the sofa because it is just the right height.

He also likes to watch Animal Planet and hang out with his buds in the computer room.

    He has many friends.
