    COPING STRATEGIES: DISABLED PARKING

    HANDICAPPED PARKING OVERLOOKED
    You may not be aware that you qualify for a disabled parking placard.   If you are disabled or a caregiver for a disabled person you should check out your eligibility.  Being able to park near the entrance to a building can mean the difference between mobility and isolation for many.  It is a coping strategy that reduces physical and emotional stress for caregivers and enables those with physical disabilities to stay independent.
